A report was current here today that the Palestine government permitted the Moslem authorities to resume their building activities on top of the Wailing Wall which were discontinued when Palestine Jews protested against this as violating the status quo.

It was further stated that this action of the government followed the opinion of the Juridical Advisors to the Privy Council that building on top of the Wailing Wall does not constitute a violation of the status quo.
