Britain Informs Warsaw Consul to Visa Chaluzim Passports for Palestine

The British government informed its Consul-General here in reply to an inquiry from him as to whether he is to discontinue issuing visas to passports of Zionist pioneers to Palestine, to continue issuing the visas provided for.

In 1921, following the anti-Jewish riots in Jaffa, the issuance of visas was temporarily suspended. Eleven hundred immigration certificates are to be issued during September.

The headquarters of the Palestine pioneers organization, He’Chalutz, directed an urgent request to the Zionist Executive in London to secure the issuance of 8,000 immigration visas for new Chaluzim.
