Sir John Chancellor, High Commissioner, took today under advisement the protest of the Zionist Executive against the order issued for disarming the Jewish self-defense body in Palestine.
The executive pointed out that even though the British troops are present, the Safed attack demonstrated that the Jewish population must be provided with means of self-defense, even though for a short while. Sir John promised to consider the matter.
