Eighty thousand dollars in cash has been contributed by Chicago Jewry to the Palestine Emergency Fund. A campaign for funds has been going forward under the direction of a Committee of which James Davis is Chairman and Julius Rosenwald is Treasurer.
Mr. Rosenwald who contributed $25,000 to the Emergency Fund is taking an active part in soliciting contributions. It is expected that this sum will be substantially augmented within the next few days.
