Shanghai Bnai Brith Sends Aid to Palestine

Eight thousand miles away the B’nai B’rith Lodge in Shanghai, China, sent funds to aid the Palestine victims, according to a cable received here by Alfred M. Cohen, president of the I. O. B. B., from the Shanghai lodge. The sum of $250 was transmitted.

The Phi Epsilon Pi fraternity, a Jewish organization at Northwestern University, Chicago, had the highest scholarship average of any fraternity on the campus since the war for the second semester of last term. Phi Epsilon Pi led all the other fraternities for the third consecutive semester with an average of 1.7958 out a possible perfect average of 3.
