Adolph S. Ochs, publisher of the New York “Times,” and Otto Kahn, banker and art patron, were among the seven men, each outstanding in their own field of endeavor, who were honored at the annual dinner of the New York State Chamber of Commerce Thursday night.

In speaking of Mr. Ochs, the toastmaster said that he was a man “who has been a creator of educational values, who has set a standard which every newspaper may well follow, and who exhibits a humanity at home and across the seas in united service.”

Of Mr. Kahn, the toastmaster remarked that “his career is convincing proof that a man may be successful in business and yet be zealous in his devotion to things of beauty and culture.”
