Gregory Grossman, a former Russian Menshevik and present Bolshevik leader, who for many years has been the Berlin representative of the Russian official Communist organ, “Pravda,” recently received an order from Moscow that his son must join the Red Army. After finishing his term of service, his son will not be allowed to return to Berlin, but will be kept as a sort of hostage in Moscow, it is said, since the Soviet government is not satisfied with Grossman’s moderate journalistic policy.
There is a rumor that Grossman is leaving voluntarily his post on the “Pravda,” which is being taken over by the notorious terrorist leader, Heinz Neumann.
