Mark Lansburgh, a leading Washington Jewish business man, has been elected president of the Merchants’ and Manufacturers’ Association, which together with the Chamber of Commerce, constitute the two general organizations of business men in the city. The presidency of the Association is considered one of the highest marks of distinction which can be accorded to one identified with business interests. Mr. Lansburgh has participated in many local Jewish philanthropies.
