Many Jews here are among those who will receive compensation from the Greek government for land which was taken away from them several years ago by the government in order to be used for colonizing Greek refugees from Turkey. Much gratification has been expressed in Jewish circles here at the government’s announcement that it is making ready to indemnify the Jews for these lands.
