Jewish Members of Parliament Ask Punishment for Anti-semites

A request that those guilty of inciting the peasants to attack the Jews and those participating in the attacks be punished was made to Vayda Voevod, Roumanian minister of the interior, by a delegation of Jewish members of parliament in the course of a four-hour conference with him today. During the conference the situation created by the anti-Jewish disturbances in various towns and cities of Bukowina was discussed.

The delegation consisted of Senator Meyer Ebner, Deputies Joseph Fisher and Michael Landau and Dr. I. Marton. The minister promised that those found guilty would be punished.
