The discovery of objects authenticating the version of certain events as told by the Bible has been announced by the joint expedition of the Ixenia Seminary and the American School of Oriental Research which has been excavating at Tel Beit Mirsin, the site of the ancient Kiryat Sepher, thirteen miles from Hebron.
The excavations revealed objects showing the cultural development of Palestine during the two years preceding 586 B. C., the year in which Nebuchadnezzer razed Jerusalem. The era of the patriarch Abraham, the story of the exodus from Egypt and the conquest of Canaan are among the authenticated Bible narratives, according to M. Albright, leader of the expedition.
