Orthodox Rabbis Appeal for $150,000 for Yeshiva College

In view of the grave situation that has arisen in respect to the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary and Yeshiva College, which threatens the future of this seat of Jewish learning, the Union of Orthodox Rabbis of the United States and Canada has issued an appeal calling upon American Jewry to contribute immediately the sum of $150,000.

The appeal is signed by Rabbi L. Silver, president; Rabbi M. S. Margolies. Rabbi B. L. Leventhal, Rabbi Israel Rosenberk and Rabbi Bernard Revel, honorary presidents; and Rabbi I. L. Seltzer, secretary.
