The new synagogue of the reform congregation Temple Sinai of the city was dedicated with Rabbi Tobias Schanfarber, rabbi emeritius of the K.A.M. Temple of Chicago officiating. Arthur Bonnheim of Chicago, who has been in charge of Temple Sinai’s religious work for the past year, spoke. The congregation’s new building is a former Baptist church that has been remodelled at a cost of $10,000. The congregation has a membership of about 30. There is also an orthodox congregation in Michigan City.
