Simon E. Sobeloff, assistant city solicitor, has been selected as chairman of the committee organized to draft the Republican platform for the gubernatorial campaign in Maryland.
Mr. Sobeloff is a close advisor of Mayor William F. Broening, of Baltimore, the Republican candidate for Governor, and he has been identified more recently in party affairs with United States Senator Phillips Lee Goldsborough and Galen L. Tait, chairman of the Republican State Central Committee.
