London (Sep. 12)
A proposal by Jacobus Kann, Dutch Jewish Banker and former member of the Zionist Executive and of the directorate of the Zionist Colonial Bank, to move the Jerusalem headquarters of the Zionist Executive to The Hague, capital of Holland, appears in the current issue of the London Jewish Chronicle. Mr. Kann believes that this will enable the Zionist Executive to carry on Zionist propaganda more effectively since in Jerusalem the purely Zionist propaganda that the Executive might conduct is overshadowed by the economic work of the Jewish Agency and the Keren Hayesod.
Mr. Kann also expressed the opinion that Zionists must now state clearly and emphatically that the aim of the movement is the creation of a Jewish majority in Palestine, something which he thinks not impossible of being accomplished. Mr. Kann spent many years in Palestine, where he served as Dutch Consul-General.
