Two Jewish Painters Will Be Represented at Carnegie Exhibit

Two famous Jewish painters, Max Lieberman and Maurice Sterne, will be represented in the annual international exhibition of modern paintings which will open October 16th at the Carnegie Institute in this city. Among the members of the American Committee of Selection is Bernard Karfiol.

The Albert C. Lehman Prize and Purchase Fund will be offered again this year for the second time. This is a cash award of $2,000 to the artist whose painting is considered the best one available for purchase. The prize also carries with it a guarantee to purchase for Albert C. Lehman, a Pittsburgh Jewish industrialist, the painting at its list price up to $10,000.
