The president of the South African Zionist Federation to day issued a statement saying that the executive of the Federation in expressing the sentiments of South African Jewry is at one with world Jewry in denouncing the Palestine policy of the British government as expressed in the latest White Paper. The South African Zionists term the government’s new policy a “deliberate reversal of the Balfour Declaration and a betrayal of the Jewish people.”
The Jews of Witwatersrand have convened a mass meeting for Sunday to consider the statement of the British government.
