Temple Beth El of this city was formally dedicated on Sunday afternoon with an impressive program. Rabbi Louis Hammer, formerly of Allentown and now spiritual leader of the Kingsbridge Community Center, New York City, delivered the dedication address.
Others who made addresses were Rabbi Samuel Cohen, executive director of the United Synagogue of America; Rev. Matthew S. Rosen, pastor of the Beth El Temple of Allentown, and Cantor Gedallia Sheinfield of Philadelphia, who was also in charge of the musical part of the program.
