The Board of the Berlin Jewish Community has lodged an action for libel against Alfred Rosenberg, the editor-in-chief of the principal Hitlerist paper, the “Voelkischer Peobachter”, for insulting the Jewish faith in an article in which he said that the Talmud unites the Jews in a league of swindlers.

This is the first time that the Berlin Jewish Community as such has officially taken legal action against an antisemite.
