Dr. Bernhard Returns to Active Newspaper Work

Dr. Georg Bernard, former editor-in-chief of the Vossische Zeitung, an Ullstein paper and one of the leading newspapers of Germany, today returned to active newspaper work and the German press welcomes his resumption of activity. The Acht Uhr Blatt, a Mosse paper, devoted a lengthy article to discussing the satisfaction in political circles at Dr. Bernhard’s return to active journalistic work.

Dr. Bernhard, who is one of Germany’s leading publicists and a former president of the International Federation of Journalists, is expected to become editor of the Acht Uhr Blatt.
