The students at the Engineering Academy at Wismar, in Mecklenburg, have gone on strike, demanding the dismissal of Professor Weingarten, the Director of the Academy, because they refuse to have a Jew as their Director. The Town Council of Wismar has in consequence asked Professor Weimar to resign.

The Town Council of Oldenburg, where the Hitlerists recently obtained a majority in the municipal elections, has invited the Wismar students to go to Oldenburg to continue their studies at the Oldenburg Engineering Academy, in case Professor Weingarten refuses to resign.
