The 34th. annual Convention of the Zionist Organisation of America, which has been held at Atlantic City, was concluded to-day with the election of a Coalition Executive of Brandeisists and followers of Mr. Louis Lipsky, establishing peace between the two factions, but apparently only on the surface.

Judge Julian W. Mack has been elected Honorary President of the Organisation, with Mr. Louis Lipsky, former President of the Organisation, and Rabbi Dr. Stephen S. Wise as Honorary Vice-Presidents.

Mr. Robert Szold has been re-elected as Chairman of the Administrative Committee; Mr. Morris Rothenberg and Rabbi Abba Hillel Silverare Vice-Chairmen of the Administrative Committee; Judge William M. Lewis, Chairman of the National Committee; Mr. Jacob de Haas Vice-Chairman; Mr. Harry Fierst is Treasurer and Mr. Louis Rocker is Chairman of the Finance Committee.

The Convention has resolved to abolish the National Executive and has elected instead a National Committee of 150 members which will be the supreme Zionist authority in America.

The Hadassah Women’s Zionist Organisation looked like breaking away from the Organisation to-day, the Hadassah delegates walking out of the Convention as a protest against the addition of six names, mostly of Lipsky adherents, to the list of the newly-elected National Committee. Mr. Emanuel Neuman, the American member of the Zionist World Executive, however, persuaded the Hadassah to return to the Convention.

The Hadassah Convention, which was held simultaneously with the Convention, decided to out down the amount of its dues to the Zionist Organisation to half, thus reducing its contribution to the funds of the Organisation by 20,000 dollars a year.

A resolution praising Dr. Weizmann for his work for the Zionist movement was adopted by the Convention with acclamation.

A budget of 90,000 dollars has been adopted by the Convention, including 30,000 dollars towards covering the deficit of 140,000 dollars.
