Southern Young Judaea Holds Convention

Development of the Southern Young Judaea Association in the past year was recorded at the 13th annual convention held here with the participation of 66 delegates from nine cities in the states of Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Louisiana and Texas.

Sidney Parks of Atlanta was elected president; Simon Wender, David Herman, vice-presidents; Simon Novek, Secretary; Mose E. Brener, treasurer; Joseph Cuba, the retiring president, was named chairman of the general Executive Board.

### convention was addressed by Rabbi Israel ### Harry Siega#, and Edward M. Kahn of Atlanta.

A new constitution was adopted. Permanent headquarters of the organization will be established in Atlanta.
