Neiman Gets Prison Sentence for Blowing Shofar

Shlomo Neiman, a Zionist Revisionist from Poland was sentenced to twenty one days imprisonment yesterday for blowing the shofar at the Wailing Wall at the conclusion of Yom Kippur services.

The blowing of the shofar is contrary to the regulations obtaining at the Wailing Wall. Neiman who was arrested immediately following his act was released on bail following representations by Chief Rabbi A. I. Kook.
