Fourteen of 29 Latvian Jews who emigrated from Latvia for settlement in Bira Bidjan, left Bira Bidjan and will return to their native lands.
A number who are experiencing difficulties with the Bidjan authorities, regarding the return of their Latvian passports, have appealed to the Latvian consul in Moscow for assistance.
