The Rector and Vice Rector of the University of Kovno have vigorously disassociated themselves from the numerus clausus movement launched by a number of student organizations.

Rector Tchepinskas declared that he would never tolerate a numerus clausus regulation in his school.

The Social Democratic student body met here and adopted resolutions protesting against numerus clausus and against the compulsory Lithuanization of minorities.
