Louis Lipsky, National Chairman of the American Palestine Campaign, this week communicated with every Jewish community in America as part of the concentrated, nation-wide drive to obtain funds immediately to enable the Jewish Agency for Palestine to continue its projects in Palestine.

Mr. Lipsky warned Jewish leaders that unless the budget of the Jewish Agency were safe-guarded, unfortunate consequences would result for the entire economic position in Palestine which has been progressing satisfactorily.

Special emphasis was placed by Mr. Lipsky upon “primacy and priority” for the Keren Hayesod budget, for which the American Palestine Campaign, in co-operation with Hadassah, aims to raise the American portion. The Keren Hayesod (Palestine Foundation Fund) is the sole financial instrument of the Jewish Agency for Palestine. “Delay in fixing early dates for American Palestine Campaign is dangerous to the interest of Palestine,” Mr. Lipsky declared.
