Jewish residents held a meeting at the Shanghai Jewish school auditorium, recently, under the auspices of the Shanghai Zionist Association, to express their sense of indignation against the persecution of Jews in Germany, and their sympathy with the victims.

The Shanghai Zionist Association gave a party in honor of the three young pioneers who left for Palestine, before their departure, at which Mrs. R. E. Toeg, president of the Zionist Association, presided. Speeches were delivered by Rabbis Mendel Brown and M. Z. Ashkenazi, Miss Lily Noblston and others. It is expected that more young men will receive certificates from the Palestine Government shortly.
