Authorities in the Butow district today issued an order prohibiting the sale of cattle and grain to Jewish dealers. Violators of the order, they said, would be severely punished and in some cases expelled from the state organization.

The edict declared that only German dealers will be permitted to appear in the marketplaces to deal in cattle and grain. All district officials in the villages were ordered to report immediately all cases of German farmers trading with Jews.
