Timothy Koilzon, best known by his party name of “Timophey”, a pioneer Jewish participant in the Russian revolutionary movement, died here yesterday. He was 69 years old.
“Timophey” was one of the organizers and for many years an active worker in the “Bund”, the organization of Jewish Socialists, which supported the Kerensky government and refused to follow the Bolsheviks in the October revolution. Recently, however, “Timophey” joined the Communist party.
