All Jewish restaurants in Frankfurt were today classified by the local authorities as first-class establishments and ordered to pay one mark for each Sunday diner.
In accordance with the order that all Germany may only eat a one-dish meal on Sunday afternoon and must pay the price of a full meal, which will go for winter relief for the unemployed, all Jewish diners in Jewish restaurants will receive a one-dish meal. But while owners of non-Jewish restaurants will pay only an average of fifty #fennigs for relief, Jewish restaurant owners have been specially classified in order to enforce upon them a tax double that paid by others.
