Italian Jewry is celebrating today the twenty-fifth anniversary in the rabbinate of the Italian Chief Rabbi, Dr. Angelo Sacerdoti. Messages have been received from many Jewish communities abroad congratulating the spiritual leader of Italian Jewry.
In addressing the celebration in his honor, Rabbi Sacerdoti stressed the importance of the closest contact among all Jewish institutions. He warned particularly against mixed marriages, which he declared, are assuming an extensive character in Italy.
