Jersey City, N. J. (May. 14)
Assemblyman Samuel Pesin said last night that he is confident the State Senate will adopt the Rafferty Bill outlawing subversive propaganda. Senate convenes in Trenton on June 4, following its present recess.
Pesin, who together with Minority Leader John Rafferty is leading a fight for the enactment of the legislation, asserted his belief the bill will be enacted in its present form. The measure has already passed the Assembly. Protests against its severtity have been made by various elements, ranging all the way from some leading papers, to the Communists and radicals.
