man Embassy officials to have been followed after the riots, pulled from a street car which he boarded, and then beaten with a blackjack until he became unconscious.

Ten days ago the Newark police recorder held sixteen persons for Grand Jury action. Eleven of these were Nazis, and five anti-Nazis. Jung’s name did not appear on this list, and it was at no time mentioned in any accounts of the fight or on any lists of the injured.

Detectives have been at work investigating the affair and gathering data on all phases.
