Declaring that a number of local agencies will find it impossible to meet their budgets with a shortage of twenty per cent, Kurt Peiser, executive director of the Jewish Welfare Federation, stated that a special Allied Jewish Campaign committee will canvass Detroit Jews who have not yet contributed. Mr. Peiser also stated that many donors will be resolicited in an effort to secure increases on their pledges.

George M. Stutz, assistant prosecuting attorney, heads the resolicitation committee. The drive raised $140,000 toward the goal of $175,000.
