Two Jewish boys, Paul Grossman and Jack Gorman, set new records in the eighth annual swimming championships held at the Cumberland swimming pool here.

In the 200 meter backstroke Paul Grossman swam to the finish line in 2.57.5. Jack Gorman was victor in the 100 meter free style in 1:8.1, and in the 200 meter breast stroke, in 3:23.5.
