William Dudley Pelley, communicant with the hereafter, commander-in-chief of the Silver Shirts and militant anti-Semite, anti-Catholic, and anti-Roosevelt campaigner, was taken over by the government, lock, stock and barrel, here today.

George W. Craig, special master and referee in bankruptcy, today signed an order directing that the bankruptcy proceedings now lodged against the Galahad Press, Inc., be extended to cover the Foundation for Christian Economics, Inc., and the Silver Shirt Legion of America, Inc.

The Galahad Press is an earlier venture of Pelley, instituted to educate those so inclined in occult practices. The latter two organizations developed from this occultism and were the militant organizations designed to bring the United States under Pelley’s conception of Christian government.

Craig’s order, which came about as a result of frequent hearings during the past two months, was filed in the office of the Clerk of the U. S. District court. The organizations affected may appeal to Federal Judge E. Yates Webb.
