Warsaw (Oct. 28)
Allegations that it has been discriminating against Polish Jewish students who intend to study in Yugoslavia were refuted yesterday by the Yugoslavian legation here. Yugoslavian government officials both at home and abroad treat Jews with equality, the statement asserts.
The late King Alexander was friendly toward the Jews of his country and manifested his interest in them on more than one occasion.
When rumors were circulated that his assassin was a Jew, Yugoslavian authorities immediately denied them and ordered severe measures against groups which attempted to attack Jews on the strength of the false reports.
