The fiftieth anniversary of the historic Kattowice conference of the Choveve Zion, pioneer Zionist group, was celebrated here with special services in the synagogues and with a banquet at which Rabbi Dr. Joshua Thon, Polish Zionist leader, presided.
A special jubilee book was issued to commemorate the conference. Zionist youth groups of all factions were represented.
