Professor John U. Lloyd, author and chemist, is one of many non-Jews who have contributed to the Jewish Welfare Fund, which is now raising $128,000 for charitable work.
Professor Lloyd’s gift was in memory of Felix Moses, who once befriended the scholar in his youth and was a source of inspiration in creating the central character in one of his successful novels.
For the last twenty-five years, Professor Lloyd has perpetuated the memory of his friend by contributions to Jewish charities here.
