AJC Proffer Turned Down by B’nai B’rith

B’nai B’rith, leading Jewish fraternal organization, has declined the invitation sent to it and other Jewish groups to appoint representatives to a board to take charge of the formulation of election procedure for choice of delegates to the American Jewish Congress in 1935, it was announced here today.

In a letter to Bernard S. Deutsch, president of the A. J. C., president Alfred M. Cohen of B’nai B’rith declined the invitation on the ground that his organization would be limited to arranging elections for a meeting of the American Jewish Congress only. He also called attention to the fact that
