Estonian Jews Voice Gratitude for Autonomy

The Estonian government was thanked today by Jewish representatives for the just treatment accorded Jews in the country and for giving them the opportunity of organizing autonomously to participate in the constructive work of the State.

The vote of thanks was expressed at the congress of Estonian municipalities which opened here today and at which representatives of national minorities were present.

Dr. Klompus, representing the Jewish cultural autonomous administration in Estonia, delivered a lengthy address at the congress, in which he pointed out the facilities given by the government for Jewish cultural work and the feelings of patriotism and gratitude which the Jews of Estonia maintain toward their government.
