Heat Wave Signs Off, Palestine Sighs Relief

The heat wave in Palestine, after reaching a climax yesterday when even camels died because they could not stand the unusually high temperature, broke today to the relief of the entire population.

The heat wave, which lasted about two weeks, forced the closing down of schools and the cessation of building operations throughout the country.
