Rabbi Jonah B. Wise, co-chairman of the United Jewish Appeal, addressed the Hundred Club here in behalf of the $115,000 set as Pittsburgh’s quota in the drive. He pictured conditions in Germany, from where he recently returned, as a country in which Jews “are doomed by the Nazis—doomed physically, economically and spiritually.”

Cantor Samuel Vigoda has arrived for a month of guest appearances at all leading synagogues here.
