Dr. Samuel H. Gordon, rabbi of Congregation B’nai Israel, was given a reception on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of his ordination. Mayor Louis Marcus and Morris Rosenblatt were the principal speakers. James L. White, president of the congregation, presided.
