A dividend of 7½ per cent for 1934 for all shoreholders of the Palestine Sal Company is to be declared, it was decided at the annual general meeting here. This compared with a five per cent dividend in the previous year.
The company has drained the marshes adjacent to Athlit, and the town is fast becoming a health and bathing resort which visitors from Haifa are patronizing in increasing numbers.
