Twenty-eight thousand Jews marched today past the grave of Dr. Theodor Herzl, the father of political Zionism, at the Vienna Jewish Cemetery, commemorating the thirty-first anniversary of Dr. Herzl’s death.
All Zionist factions participated in the pilgrimage, including a large contingent of Chalutzim. The procession was led by Dr. E. Feuchtwang, Chief Rabbi of Vienna, and included members of Jewish student societies.
The immediate destruction of folders advertising “Aryan hotels” in the Summer resorts of Austria was ordered today by the Board of Austrian Tourists Bureaus.
The order was issued in view of the fact that dissemination of such folders would prevent the patronage of Jewish guests in many Austrian Summer places and would thus affect the income of the State from tourists.
