The following were elected here late last night to represent the Zionist Organization of America at the forthcoming World Zionist Congress to be held in Lucerne, Switzerland, in the week of August 20th:
1. Louis Lipsky—172 votes.
2. Morris Rothenberg—158 votes.
3. Rabbi Abba Hillel Silver—132 votes.
4. Rabbi Stephen S. Wise—87 votes.
5. Abraham Goldberg—68 votes.
6. Dr. Israel Goldstein—65 votes.
7. Maurice Samuel—62 votes.
8. Morris Margulies—56 votes.
9. Judge Julian Mack—51 votes.
The counting of the votes was not completed until three o’clock this morning. More than 300 delegates participated in the voting.
In addition to the above nine delegates there will also be nine delegates from the Hadassah and one from the Order Sons of Zion.
