Arabs Debate ‘free’ Palestine if War Comes

What the attitude of the Arabs in Palestine should be in case of a world war involving England, which holds the mandate over Palestine, was discussed today at a meeting of Arab leaders here.

The Jewish Telegraphic Agency understands that the session adopted a decision to investigate the possibility of establishing independent Arab states in such an eventuality.

A memorandum was sent today by leaders of Arab youth in Palestine to the Iraq government to help establish an Arab legion in Palestine with Iraquian arms.
