The Lenin Order, the highest award bestowed in Soviet Russia, was given today to the Jewish professor, Boris Weissbrod, for his services as one of the best surgeons in the country.
Professor Weissbrod, who is 67 years old, is considered an outstanding medical scientist. He is the organizer of the Soviet medical system.
